A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK HEAVY BRASS-BARRELLED BLUNDERBUSS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1790 and possibly from a jail, with 16in. brass barrel banded at and behind the cannon muzzle, moulded band at breech, maker's mark 'T.K.' (possibly Ketland) and London proofs, military style lock with traces of ordnance stamps (cleaned and pitted), walnut three-quarter hand-rail stock (some filled worm, cracked at wrist), the side cheek with illegible supplier's stamp) brass furniture including 'S' shaped side-plate and replacement horn-tipped ramrod
